a lot of money to add to an already 200+ dollar remote Movies are accessible too, also use to control netflix, cannot use to control web browser (at least i haven't been able to) and will not control even simple games (not a big deal, really no need) two big disappointments: 1. Device does operate the ps3, it allows me to navigate on all of my media servers. The ps3 can access all of the 30,000 plus songs on my computers hard drive and this device allows my harmony remote to control them. no web browsing 2.
I use my range extender too so, I don't have to aim the remote, hung on ceiling behind speaker. No reaching for multiple remotes, its like 1 stop shopping. This is just what I needed for my harmony 890. Everything is now complete.
Considering, I had four remotes to deal with, I wanted only one. I call this the purchase of a necessary evil - a little pricey for what it does. Very easy to set up and pair up with the Harmony One remote. Since Sony made their remote different from all other blu ray players, I had to purchase this adapter to accomplish my one remote goal.
What can I say.It does what it's suppose to do. But kinda pricey for such a simple product.
It's also saved us from continually pushing the wrong buttons during playback and having to re-find our place(ok its not that tricky, but now its painfully obvious and consistent across all devices). I'll be dumping the Sony bluetooth remote for my other setup and adding this there as well.Definitely recommend it if you want to truly get down to a single remote (FWIW - I have the Harmony One). Although a little on the pricey side, it was worth it considering I can control the PS3 from the couch and switch between it and the XBOX360, cable TV, and other devices without screwing around with multiple remotes and controllers. My experience during setup was smooth and it's worked flawlessly since Day 1.
